Originally from Perth,  Amy has always had an interest in working with and manipulating tactile objects and materials. Through this long standing enthusiasm, her skills have been strengthened by studying at Holmesglen Institute.

 

An empathetic nature allows Amy to intertwine deep concepts and meaning into her design ethos and garments. With an incredible attention to detail and strong work ethic,  Amy has proven to be a hardworking and professional individual able to adapt and work with the constantly changing nature of the fashion industry.

  • Extensive knowledge of the design process, garment construction, manual pattern making, manipulation and grading, garment fitting and sourcing appropriate trims and modifications through determination of end-use, market sector and customer profile

    

  • Able to illustrate design concepts through hand sketches and through digital programs

 

  • Create technical and specification sheets/packs to a high standard with impeccable attention to detail

  • Ability to work towards completing a brief by analysing the aesthetic and ethos of the brand/customer by collecting and collating research to create mood boards, design concepts and inspiration to identify the target market 

  • Experience of sourcing and collaborating with industry connections including photographers, models and make-up artists for runways and photoshoots​

  • Visual merchandising of work to professionally present to industry contacts 

  • Creative and innovative mindset demonstrated by being invited to participate in the ‘Melbourne Fashion Week Student Runway 2019’ during the final year of study and the ‘Raw Artists Runway 2020’ after graduation
